How to Import Flight Data into LogTen
Note: This import process is only available on macOS. For other operating systems(IOS/Ipad), please email the CSV file to LogTen support.
Step 1: Download CSV File
First, use the logbook page to process your PAS files and download the combined CSV file.
Step 2: Aircraft
These files use ship numbers as Secondary ID. If you need to match ship numbers with their corresponding tail numbers, import the aircraft files here.
Step 3: Open LogTen
Launch LogTen on your device and ensure you're on the main logbook view.
Step 4: Import the CSV File
- Click on "File" in the menu bar
- Select "Import from File"
- Choose "Flights"
- Navigate to and select your downloaded CSV file
- Change the date format to dd-mmm-yyyy
- In the import dialog, match the columns as follows:

Step 5: Verify the Import
After importing, verify that your flights appear correctly in LogTen. Check a few entries to ensure all data was imported properly.
Note: If you encounter any issues during the import process, try the following:
- Ensure all dates are in the correct format (dd-mmm-yyyy)
- Verify that times are in the correct format (HH:MM)
- Check that there are no extra commas in the CSV file
